Americans Binge Drinking More

With excessive alcohol at the center of local headlines this week, the release of this national study seemed quite timely and appropriate to share. New research found Americans binge drink more than previously thought, and adults do so more frequently. What's worse, they also consume more drinks when binge drinking. Binge drinking is found to be more common among those with household incomes in excess of $75,000. However, the largest number of drinks consumed per occasion was greatest for those with household incomes of less than $25,000.
